Biography: Paula Greisen is the managing partner at the civil rights law firm of KING & GREISEN, LLP. Her practice covers all aspects of civil rights, including plaintiffs’ employment discrimination and governmental abuse of power cases. Ms. Greisen was honored with the Colorado Trial Lawyer’s Association 2003 Case of the Year Award for her work on a successful ten-year class action on behalf of persons with disabilities. Ms. Greisen was also the recipient of the University of Colorado’s School of Law Alumni Association’s Young Lawyer of the Year Award for the Year 2000. Currently, Ms. Greisen is President of the Faculty of Federal Advocates, serves on the Board of Directors of Colorado Legal Service, the Board of Directors for the Plaintiff’s Employment Lawyers Association, the Board of Governors for the Colorado Bar Association, the Board of Directors for the University of Colorado School of Law Alumni Association, the Legal Panel of the ACLU, and the Legal Panel for the Center on Law and Policy. Ms. Greisen was the co-chair of the Colorado Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Section from 2003 to 2006.
Ms. Greisen was recently selected by her peers for inclusion in the 2006 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
